Las Vegas housing prices have seen a modest uptick compared to the previous month, yet they remain notably lower than their levels from the same time last year. As of July, the median price for an existing single family home in the region stood at $450,000. This reflects a 2% increase from June of this year, but it’s noteworthy that prices are still more than 3% below their figures from June 2022 when the median price soared to $465,000. The zenith of median home prices was reached in May of 2022 when they peaked at $482,000. Remarkably, despite the backdrop of rising mortgage rates and a diminished number of homes changing hands, the market appears to be displaying resilience.
